How to apply

Applying for the Hazel Stillwell Scholarship is a straightforward process designed to ensure fairness and transparency. Here’s a step-by-step overview to guide you:

  1. Step 1 – Complete the Application: Applicants complete the online application and upload all required documents.
  2. Step 2 – Chapter Certification: Applications must be reviewed and certified by a participating chapter.
  3. Step 3 – Committee Review: Certified applications are evaluated by the scholarship committee.
  4. Step 4 – Award Notification: Final scholarship recipients are selected and notified.

Before you begin

To ensure a smooth application process, please review the following checklist before you begin:

  • Application takes approximately 20–30 minutes.
  • Required documents should be prepared in advance.
  • Only one applicant per chapter may be certified.
  • Applications are locked after submission.
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

APPLICANT & ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Each participating chapter may sponsor and certify one applicant

  1. Chapters are responsible for reviewing applications before certification
  2. Certification confirms chapter support and eligibility
  3. Certified applications advance to committee review
  4. "Chapter certification is a required step in the application process."

Time Line and Important Information 

  • Application Opens:  March 1st 
     Application Deadline: June 12th 
    Chapter Certification: June 17th
    Committee Review: June 18th-24th
    Mandatory Scholarship Luncheon: June 27th
